These Terms & Conditions apply when you book tattoo services with 14 Arrows Tattoo Parlour.
Please read them before making a booking. By confirming an appointment and paying any required booking fee,
you agree to these terms.

BOOKINGS
Tattoo appointments are subject to artist availability and are not confirmed until the studio or artist has confirmed the appointment and any required booking fee has been received.
We may ask for information about your tattoo idea, placement, approximate size and reference images before confirming your booking.
Where appropriate, we may recommend a consultation before an appointment is booked.

BOOKING FEES
A booking fee may be required to secure your appointment.
The amount will be confirmed before payment and will normally be deducted from the final cost of your tattoo unless otherwise agreed.
Booking fees reserve artist time and may also cover reasonable work undertaken in preparation for your appointment.
If you cancel your appointment, we may retain some or all of the booking fee where this reasonably reflects losses or work already incurred as a result of the cancellation.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS
If you need to change your appointment, please give us at least 48 hours' notice.
Where sufficient notice is given, we will normally allow a booking to be moved once, subject to artist availability.
Further changes may require a new booking fee.
If you cancel at short notice, repeatedly reschedule or fail to attend your appointment, some or all of your booking fee may be retained where reasonable to reflect the artist's lost appointment time, preparation or other losses resulting from the cancellation.
If 14 Arrows or your artist needs to cancel or move your appointment, we will offer an alternative appointment or deal with any booking fee fairly according to the circumstances.
Your statutory rights are not affected.

DESIGNS
Tattoo designs are normally prepared close to the appointment date and may not be available significantly in advance.
Your artist will work from the information and references provided during the booking process. Reasonable adjustments can usually be discussed with your artist before tattooing begins.
Significant changes to the agreed concept, placement or size may require additional design time, a different appointment length or a new appointment.
Tattoo designs created by our artists remain the intellectual property of the artist unless otherwise agreed and must not be copied, reproduced or used by another tattoo artist without permission.

PRICING
Tattoo prices depend on factors including the artist, design, size, placement, complexity and time required.
Any estimate given before an appointment is based on the information available at that time. If the scope of the tattoo changes, the final price may also change.
Any material change affecting the expected price will be discussed with you before tattooing wherever reasonably possible.

AGE & IDENTIFICATION
You must be 18 or over to be tattooed at 14 Arrows.
We may ask for valid photographic identification where necessary to verify your age.
We will not tattoo anyone under 18, including with parental or guardian consent.

YOUR APPOINTMENT
Please arrive on time and follow any preparation advice provided by your artist or the studio.
We may refuse or postpone tattooing where we reasonably believe it would be unsafe or inappropriate to proceed, including where a client appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs or where there is a health, skin or hygiene concern affecting the tattoo.
Please tell your artist about anything relevant that may affect your ability to be tattooed or heal safely.
We generally ask clients not to bring companions unless this has been agreed with the studio beforehand.

NUMBING PRODUCTS
We generally do not recommend using numbing creams or similar products unless discussed with your artist beforehand.
Some products can affect the skin and potentially interfere with the tattooing process.
If you are considering using a numbing product, please speak to your artist before your appointment.

AFTERCARE & HEALING
Your artist will provide advice about caring for your tattoo.
Healing varies between individuals and can be affected by skin type, lifestyle, aftercare and other factors outside our control.
It is your responsibility to follow the aftercare advice provided and contact the studio if you have concerns about how your tattoo is healing.
Our website also contains general tattoo aftercare guidance.

TOUCH-UPS
Where appropriate, complimentary touch-ups may be offered within three months of your original appointment.
Complimentary touch-ups are intended to correct small areas that have not healed as expected and are offered at the artist's discretion after assessing the healed tattoo.
They may not apply where additional work is required because aftercare instructions were not followed, the tattoo has been damaged, or the client wishes to change or add to the original design.

PHOTOGRAPHY
We may ask to photograph your finished tattoo for portfolio, website or social-media purposes.
Where photographs identify you or go beyond photographing the tattoo itself, we will use them appropriately and seek permission where required.
You can tell your artist if you do not want your tattoo photographed or published.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY
We will provide tattoo services with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or affects rights you have under consumer law.
We are not responsible for problems caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by a failure to follow aftercare or other reasonable instructions, except where the law provides otherwise.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms & Conditions occasionally to reflect changes to our services, studio policies or legal requirements.
The version applying to a booking will normally be the version made available when that booking is confirmed.
The latest version will always be available on our website.
